Overall this is a really good mod. It does exactly what it's supposed to without issue, and is more responsive and provides more information than the alternatives (e.g. What is This OwO and co). It's also highly configurable, and that configuration can be accessed from an in-game settings menu with no need to exit to the main menu.
The only thing I'd like to see added is some more visual polish, maybe in the form of a set of selectable background images for the panel and a transparency slider or a color-controllable border like WAILA/HWYLA had. That doesn't take away from the mod at all though and would just be a cherry on top of an already great addition to any world, heavily modded or otherwise (as a lot of the information given is useful even in an otherwise vanilla MTG world).
For anyone who also plays modded minecraft it's pretty obvious that this is a partial remake/port of Aquaculture (2?) or at the very least, very heavily inspired by it. You aren't breaking any rules or laws by not indicating anywhere that this is the case, but it is bad practice and kinda rude. Luanti players who aren't familiar with minecraft mods deserve to know that these ideas aren't unique or original to you when they use the mod.
I don't think the mod really needs a video since it's primarily a library for other modders to use and doesn't do much on its' own. There are no recipes using the tools (other than the recipes for some of the tools themselves) provided by default, so there isn't much to look at.
Oh yeah I'm well aware that the resolution and style might not be some (a lot) of people's cup of tea but I largely prefer to be striking than palatable. I'm glad you enjoy it, and if you'd prefer it to be in the same resolution as the rest of the game you'll be glad to know that I'm chipping away at a 24px texturepack which will release once it covers MTG and be updated from thereon to support a number of popular mods.
Yeah I've never been on that one, I kinda stopped joining servers after metropolis went down. Anyway, 1.0.2 is up on github with a few fixes including the bone pile selectionbox. CDB should have it by the end of today (cause I'm too lazy to set up a webhook)
Fossil plate as in the ancient plating? It's used for crafting fossil/ancient armor, so if 3d_armor isn't enabled it won't be registered as an item since it has no other purpose.
Yeah I forgot threads existed since they basically don't get used (and pressing 'delete' is the only way to convert a review into a thread? seems kinda wierd, there should be a button to post as a thread instead when writing a review lol then maybe people would use them)
When I want to adjust/edit sounds I use audacity, and when you want to low-pass filter a (selected) section of sound in audacity you can go to Effect > EQ and Filters > Low-Pass Filter.... That's what I did locally with the eating sounds, although I can't remember the exact settings I used since I didn't save them as projects and just directly exported the .oggs.
A simple tweak you could make would be applying a low pass filter to the chewing sounds, I've done that on my install and I feel it makes them integrate better with the rest of the game.
The animation for eating is nice and the mechanic itself has potential to add another dimension of balance to food types (how long they take to eat) but the sounds are meh at worst and the burping should definitely be disabled by default. It's also a bit annoying that you can't eat repeatedly by continuing to hold down RMB; you have to release it first then start holding again to eat the next item.

Definitely inspired by Gregtech, as well as Immersive Engineering.

The slurp sounds are good, if a little loud.
